Wilkes, the celebrated fashion icon and founder of the eponymous luxury clothing stores, loved Muttville almost as much as he loved his cherished dog Duchy. He made sure that his support continued after he passed away. "With all my heart," Wilkes said, "what Sherri Franklin did when she founded this organization to care for dogs seven years and older was fantastic. It was a brilliant idea, and it's all heart."
